Hidden neatly under a folding hatch on the foredeck, M/Y Savannah features a Nautical Structures EZ2200-FCEX-SOLAS Crane. The crane has a stowed dimension of just 95″ (2.4m) and an open reach of 165″ (4.2m), as well as a safe working load of 2,200lbs (1000kg). The crane is SOLAS approved for use as a life saving crane and is tested to the most rigorous Lloyd’s Register standards.
Here we see the Nautical Structures FCEX crane in its’ stowed position under the tender-hatch on the foredeck area of M/Y Savannah. These systems are known for stowing in a neat package, and offer a huge amount of versatility for something that stows in such a small space.
