NAUTICAL STRUCTURES INDUSTRIES ANNOUNCES TYPE-APPROVED NS-SERIES CRANES AT METSTRADE 2023

Nautical Structures Industries, the leader in precision engineered lifting and boarding equipment, based outside of Tampa, Florida, has announced the next generation of its successful line of NS-Series cranes. The new Type-Approved NS cranes are capable of meeting/exceeding multiple class category requirements, including Cargo/Unmanned-Tenders (UMT), Handling of Personnel (HOP), Life Saving Appliances (LSA), and Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS).

“The NS-Series of cranes are already one of our biggest achievements, with its 2:1 weight-to-lifting power ratio, modular design allowing for fitment on almost any vessel, and yacht-quality fit & finish. The current trend of Class & Flag organizations pushing for enhanced safety regulations for all lifting operations has made it a logical decision for us to pursue this Type-Approval Program” stated Nautical Structures President, Robert Bolline.

“This development only makes our position stronger in the lifting & boarding equipment market, the existing legacy of the NS-Series cranes is only enhanced with the addition of the Type-Approved models. The cost efficiencies of type approval will create a lower barrier of entry to certified lifting equipment, while ensuring the safety & quality for new vessels as well as those going through refits that are subject to the new Class safety rules.”
