Nautical Structures Service has reached another milestone in their growth trajectory.
Nautical Structures Service has moved into their new headquarters, located at the same complex on West McNab Road in Fort Lauderdale, but now around the corner to a larger and more up-to-date space at 1312 W. McNab Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309.
With this move the NSI Service location was upgraded from 3,000sq ft of office & shop space up to 8,000 featuring major improvements to their in-house capabilities.
About the new facility:
- The new location features 8,000sq-ft of space, with recently upgraded facilities to support their growing Fort Lauderdale team.
- Refinished office space including separate office, inventory management, and crew break areas.
- Vastly larger shop-floor area allowing for enhanced machining, fabrication, electrical, and assembly spaces.
- Work bays to accommodate up to 12 technicians and their personal tool chests.
- Indoor storage for the growing fleet of NSI Service vehicles.
- 3 large receiving bays to accommodate both pull-in deliveries as well as loading bays for larger trucks and tractor trailers.
“The improvements in efficiency and quality control, along with providing our employees with a comfortable and safe workplace were the driving factors in this investment in our service future,” said Worldwide Service Director Ron Beilman. “We are excited with the results thus far and have many more upgrades planned for early 2023. Ultimately, these investments are intended to benefit our south Florida customers with increased resources (we are hiring) and throughput meant to give them good value for all projects ranging from Annual Service all the way through Major Refurbishments.
